Terms and Conditions
Using StageCue
StageCue at https://stagecue.au is operated by Courtney George Cassar as an individual/sole trader. These terms describe the conditions for using the platform and managing society content. By expressly accepting these terms during account registration or society-access onboarding, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact: contact@stagecue.com.au.
Free beta and future charges
Access to the current society beta is free. Beta features may change as we learn from participating societies. You will not be automatically enrolled in a paid service. Any future paid offer will explain its price and conditions and require your agreement before charges begin. You may decline a paid offer and stop using StageCue without a cancellation penalty.
Accounts and authority
Provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure and contact us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Use your own authorised account and only exercise permissions granted to you. If you request or manage a society profile, you confirm that the society has authorised you to act for it and arrange appropriate editor access. Registration alone does not give authority over a society profile.
Content responsibilities
You remain responsible for submitted content. Take reasonable care to keep listings accurate and current, including dates, audition deadlines, ticket links, venues and asset availability. You must have the rights and permissions needed to publish names, contact details, photographs, logos, posters and other material. Obtain any necessary consent for information or images about children and young people, including parent or guardian permission where required. Do not submit sensitive personal information or private details unnecessary for a public theatre listing.
Do not submit unlawful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, unsafe or infringing content. Do not impersonate another person or society, distribute malicious files, bypass access controls, disrupt the service or harvest personal contact details for unsolicited messages.
Permission to publish
You retain ownership of material you own. You grant StageCue a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, resize, format and display material as needed to operate the platform and present the listings you choose to publish, including search and link previews. We may use technical providers for those purposes. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise publication of private drafts or hidden contact details. If material is removed or you ask us to remove it, we will stop displaying it within a reasonable time, subject to necessary records and backup retention described in the Privacy Policy. Separate promotional uses outside this scope require permission.
Moderation
We may review, correct, hide or remove material, or restrict access, where reasonably necessary to address inaccurate or unauthorised content, a breach of these terms, a security risk, harm or a legal concern. Where practical, we will explain the issue and give an opportunity to respond or correct it. Urgent action may be taken first to protect people, the service or legal rights. You can request a review at contact@stagecue.com.au. Approval of a society or listing is not an endorsement or guarantee of every statement it contains.
External activities
StageCue provides information and links. Societies and other providers arrange their own productions, auditions, ticket sales, venue bookings and asset hire or loans. StageCue does not process ticket payments or make casting or employment decisions. Confirm important information, suitability, pricing and transaction terms with the relevant provider. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. This does not limit any responsibility the law places on StageCue for its own conduct.
Availability and liability
We take reasonable care in operating StageCue, but the beta may contain errors, experience interruptions or change as features are improved. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete third-party information, a particular audience reach, ticket sales, applications or enquiries. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Any liability is subject to those laws.
Ending access
You may stop using StageCue at any time and ask us to close your account or remove content you are authorised to manage. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk or legal concern, using the review process above where practical. If we discontinue the beta, we will give reasonable notice where practical and explain how to request a copy or removal of your information. Ending an individual's editor access does not necessarily remove the society's profile. Necessary records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to the terms or operator
We will publish updated terms with their version and effective date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes affecting account holders. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Where a change requires fresh agreement, we will seek it; you may stop using StageCue if you do not agree. If StageCue later moves to a company or another legal operator, we will identify that operator, update the documents and handle any required notices, permissions and agreement changes before the handover.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to mandatory rights or protections that apply elsewhere. For support, a complaint, content removal or a dispute, email contact@stagecue.com.au. We will consider the matter in good faith and try to resolve it with you. This does not restrict any right to contact a regulator or seek a legal remedy.
